Diana Tourjee is an inspiration for me and countless others to live everyday in radical self-love and acceptance and I am so grateful to count her as a sister. Community is real and we are responsible for creating the world we want to live in. Please share and contribute if you can! Sweet incentives from Beacon's Closet, Kingsland Printing and Di herself! x

our dearest amanda finn, the voice behind the beacon's website (and this month's home page model), will be leaving us to pursue a quieter life with her husband, in more peaceful environs. we will miss her astute insights, and her creative lens. amanda has always captured organic nuances of fashion, and honed in on the people both at beacon's, and in broader nyc culture, that have embodied a certain, born that way, look. what we will miss the most about amanda, however, is her kind heart, her hopeful disposition, and her enthusiasm about her job, co-workers, and friends. thank you amanda, for sharing your vision with us, and for your years of dedication.
introducing: Peter LaBier
like many of our beacon’s staffers, peter is a modern-day renaissance man--
musician, dancer, draftsman and painter.
his latest drawing show is currently on view in new york’s steven harvey fine arts projects.
his still life compositions of flowers, and whimsical found objects all seem to perfectly capture the energy and enthusiasm of spring!
be sure to check peter's show out this month if you’re in the city.
or you can view his work online here
or listen to peter’s band psychobuildings.
peter’s latest beacon’s buys include Alexander McQueen x Puma jacket, tie-dyed tee, and crocodile necklace!
