TRUCE x beacons closet

upon graduating from syracuse university telsha knew she wanted to be in fashion and events. with the help of brett pinnix founder of ABC Collective TRUCE by Telsh was born. we catch up with the blogger and beacon's enthusiast in her harlem home where she shares some of her favorite scores from our racks. one of the beauties of secondhand is the creative opportunity to reinterpret, rework and refashion a piece making it your very own.

what inspires you about vintage and secondhand clothing?

my favorite thing about vintage and secondhand clothing is the quality most items still maintain, especially from beacon’s. i treat my clothing, especially my favorite pieces, with a lot of care, attention, and love.

you've been a long-time shopper with us. what's one of your favorite treasures from our racks?

hands-down, my denim no-name coat. i love that it’s long, cost me only $50, and i’ve only ever seen me in it.

who do you hope to reach with TRUCE?

i hope to reach a multitude of people. i want to reach brands, visionaries, students, musicians, young women and men, and people most interested in being themselves. i’m looking to continue to align myself with other creative individuals.
